about

The Tide Turns, the second full-length album from award-winning bassist/composer Brad Cheeseman, is based on a year of change, self-discovery and reinvention. From the opening notes of the title track and the deliberate groove of "All In" to the triumphant "High Tide" and the concluding cover of Feist's "Lonely Lonely," The Tide Turns focuses on delivering melodic—and honest—musical stories.

The Tide Turns was nominated for "Jazz Album of the Year: Solo" at the 2018 JUNO Awards, and was also nominated for "Best Jazz Instrumental" at the 2017 Toronto Independent Music Awards.
