BCG nominated for FOUR Hamilton Music Awards

I am pleased to announce that the Brad Cheeseman Group’s Mixed Messages EP was nominated for four awards at the 2013 Hamilton Music Awards! We were nominated in the following categories:

  • Jazz Recording of the Year
  • Instrumental Recording of the Year
  • Drummer of the Year (for Matt Burns)
  • Bassist of the Year

In addition to the BCG’s nominations, Andre Bisson’s latest record Bad Scene (which features both myself and Matt) was nominated for Blues Recording of the Year.

The Industry Awards take place on Nov. 16 and the Music Awards ceremony is Nov. 17. The main ceremony will be recorded and broadcast on CHCH on December 28 at 8pm.

Mixed Messages EP out now!

I’m proud to announce the Brad Cheeseman Group’s Mixed Messages EP is now available for stream/purchase at http://bradcheeseman.bandcamp.com. The recording features a selection of original material that the band had been working on since 2011, and was recorded in the fall of 2012. Please take a listen and if you like it, show it to others!
